Interesting, my SuperTrapp fit better than the stock unit and I had it on and off many times trying to get the connection to seal. I do believe that the design makes it next to impossible to fit the 2 together w/o a leak stock. I did use both a bew flange gasket(ring) and packing, plus a paste muffler connection sealer from NAPA. It does lubricate the connection some and I recommend it for an extra bit of insurance for an air tight seal. I'm running 4 discs now and performance and noise are just right. Max
